I was recently gifted some Makeup Geek products thanks to my friend, Alex. We did a "beauty swap" for our channels and she included some sweet products that I had been dying to try by MUG, including the new blushes!
I created a soft warm look using golds, oranges, peaches, and warm browns. I was extremely excited to put these new products to the test and they definitely did not disappoint!
For my shadows I used Coastal Scents Hot Pot in "Caramelized" all over the lid. I highly recommend these shadows to anyone who wants MAC/MUG quality, at a fraction of the cost! My crease and transition shade is Makeup Geek's "Peach Smoothie". To add more drama and warmth to the eye I added Makeup Geek's "Cocoa Bear" in the outer corner and slightly into the crease.
To add definition to my face I used one of my new favorite contouring powders which is Anastasia's "Havana" bronzer from the Contour Kit. I also used Makeup Geek's Blush in "Bliss" to add a beautiful flush of peachy warmth to the cheeks
Of course I finished the look with some gel liner by L'oreal and lengthening mascara. I love warm eye looks like this. They're super versatile and can be worn day or night.
I stuck with my trustee Bare Minerals Foundation and Well Rested for my base. I really wanted to incorporate a warm orangey lip into the look but unfortunately I'm not the biggest fan of that undertone on my lips so I stuck with a warm neutral called "Tulip" from Tarte's Butter Lipstick collection.
What do you guys think about the warm look? Are you more of a neutral, warm or cool makeup user?
