May Julep Maven Box: "Set the Stage"

Free from school, free from tests, free from homework, and free from dreadful parking and campus road rage. I took my last final of the semester tonight and it went awesome. I'm so excited to get more posts up for the summer! I hope you guys are too.

I get my Julep Maven box about 3 days before the actual month starts. It ships to me SO quick. Normally within two days (mind-boggling) So I normally have it for a couple of weeks before I ever do a review, just so I can test out the products.

What I love about Julep is there's such a variety every month. You never know what you're getting, besides the polishes you choose. The monthly extra is always fun and normally useful. Not to mention customer service is great and you have the option to skip every month. This month's theme was "The Roaring 20's" which I absolutely loved. Hope you guys like!

May "Bombshell Box":
  • 2 polishes- Zelda and Gabrielle
  • Paris Jazz Trio- Sweet Lorraine (sheer pink)/ Charleston (sheer to medium cranberry)/ Lady in Red (True red with cool undertone)
  • Rose Hair Pins

Gabrielle is a smokey plum polish with a creme finish.
Zelda is a shimmering champagne polish with gold and silver undertones.

Paris Jazz Trio
 "Sweet Lorraine"
Sweet Lorraine is a sheer pink lip tint.

Charleston is a cranberry lip tint with a sheer to medium finish.

"Lady in Red"
Lady in Red is a true red with cooler undertones-very pigmented!

Monthly Extra
I was under the impression that I was getting a lip scrub as an extra this month, however, I could have just misread the description. I thought these hair pins were cute- even though I'm not a huge hair accessory person. I'm sure I'll find a use for them ;)

Interested in joining Julep?

Hope you all enjoyed!
Until next time...
