Pedro Lourenco for MAC: Nude Quad

After browsing MAC's website for the past few weeks, I somehow managed to pass up this gem. The Predro Lourenco collection didn't really seem to catch my eye until I stumbled upon the Nude Quad - my life was complete. I saw the beautiful mix of cool toned neutrals and immediately fell in love! Not to mention, the gold detailing of the quad is gorgeous!
Top to Bottom: Sable, Rose Cloud, All That Glitters, Pink Sands
If I were an eye shadow quad, I feel like this would totally be me. I love how classic and simple the shades are. However, Sable offers a great mid-tone color that can be built up for a more intense look.

The actual texture of the shadows weren't as "buttery smooth" as I was expecting. However, don't get me wrong, they are very pigmented, I just found them to be lacking a bit in texture.  I was a little weary about the pink shade but it actually works great as a base color!
Another great thing about this palette is that I don't think it is limited to seasons. It's very versatile - that "perfect" shadow quad. I feel it would be great for every day wear along with more of a formal/full on makeup look. The colors are quite buildable and can offer a sheer finish or medium/smokey finish.

For my eye look I used Pink Sands all over the lid and in the crease. On the inner half of the lid, along with the inner corners, I used All That Glitters. I took Rose Cloud and Sable in the outer corner and into the crease. I love how all of the shades blended together. Just a really classic and effortless look!

What do you guys think? Are you in love with this palette as much as I am!?

Until next time...
