Bare Minerals is adding some flair to their new collection of Marvelous Moxie glosses this summer. Their latest limited edition shade called "Hypnotist" is probably unlike any other color you've seen before. I has a "prism" finish that changes colors once applied.
If you aren't familiar with the Moxie line, it's basically a spin off of the Bare Escentuals "Buxom" plumping glosses which are only sold in Sephora now. Bare Minerals released the Moxies after taking Buxom out of their free standing stores and boutiques.
Hypnotist is a limited edition shade with a slightly different shaped tube than the permanent colors. It also contains less product (2.25ml/0.7 fl oz.) than the original tubes (4.5ml/.15 fl oz.)
I was drawn to this shade obviously because it is unique and to be completely honest, fun to look at. While swatching on your hand you will notice the gloss change from a light lavender to a sheer white prism, and finally into a light iridescent finish. I will admit, the gloss does not contain much color but would pair nicely with a bold lip if you're looking for some extra shine.
Here I am wearing Hypnotist alone with nothing else on my lips. My natural lip color does have quite a bit of pigment so this color will definitely vary on everyone. I have really been enjoying the natural finish of this gloss. I think it's perfect for a simple summer look. What do you guys think?
