Happy Hump Day! I've been a little MIA recently. With the end of the semester winding down and summer approaching, I've been in a constant busy mode! A few days ago, I realized that I never really review drugstore products. I saw these liquid Rimmel blushes a few weeks ago and was temped to pick one up but talked myself out of it. Well, I gave in over the weekend and picked one up!
I was excited to try these out because I'm not a huge fan of liquid/cream cheek products and I was hoping for a winner! They seemed to be light weight and not very sticky when I checked them out at the drugstore. I went with the berry shade because it seemed to be the most wearable. I paid around $4.50 for the full size tube which is .47 fl oz.
I was really impressed with the overall application and feel of this liquid blush! The finish was so radiant but didn't leave a sticky residue on my cheeks. I used a flat synthetic buffing brush to apply the product. It went on quite sheer but was easily buildable. I love the "Touch of Berry" shade I chose! It's so natural but refreshing.
The wear was mediocre. After about five or six hours I noticed the color starting to fade. Most cream blush products tend to do this with my skin though. So, I wouldn't consider this product to have outstanding wear.
Overall I really enjoyed the formula and look of the liquid cheek tint! I thin Rimmel did a great job in the texture department, they feel great on the skin and have a lovely finish!
Have you guys tried any? Let me know!
Until next time...
Very nice color! I haven't seen these at my drugstore. I will have to look again.
ReplyDeleteRimmel has surprisingly quality products for the price! I haven't seen this particular product but I'll have to give it a try. :)

I have this formula in apricot and love it as well - like you said it does wear off (par for the course with cream products) but really gives that natural glowy finish.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try this but it's not sold where I am! The dewy finish looks fab.
