Rave: Josie Maran Skincare & Cosmetics

Hi, guys! I'm so thrilled about today's post and have to warn you - it may be a little bias judging by the fact that it's over Josie Maran Cosmetics, a new found obsession of mine. I've worn her Argan Oil for about a year now and absolutely love it. I never ventured out into the beauty section up until I got a freaking SWEET deal on QVC - and of course, this review had to be born.
Wearing Josie's Tinted Moisturizer, Creamy Concealer Crayon, and Argan Color Stick in "Dreamy Pink"
(nothing else on the face except a small amount of bronzer)
I first started out with the Argan Tinted Moisturizer (in Light 1). It has quite a strong yellow undertone which is great if you're looking to counteract redness. I prefer more of a neutral to warm undertone so the color was fine with me. You get a decent light coverage look out of the tinted moisturizer. I have such dry skin and I have to say, this is packed with hydration, it felt like a dream on my face.
My past with concealer crayons haven't  always been the best. I generally think of the crayon forms being dry and hard to apply. Fortunately, the Argan Creamy Concealer Crayon is anything but! The creaminess of the product was pleasantly surprising and made blending a breeze. I got a solid light/medium coverage out of it. It adds that extra bit of coverage that might have been lacking in the tinted moisturizer. I got mine in the shade "Light 1" which seemed to be a bit more neutral than the tinted moisturizer.
Lastly I gave some life back to my skin with the Argan Color Stick in "Dreamy Pink". This stick packs a punch of color! don't expect a sheer color pay off because a couple taps on the face is all you'll need to get the perfect flush of color. Just a warning for all of my scent "sensitive" people out there - this does have a strong scent to it. Almost like Eucalyptus? I'm not a huge fan of it but it dies down once blended into the skin.

And, of course, I couldn't end this post without talking about two of my favorite skincare products! I've been wearing the 100% Argan Oil for a year now and I have to say it's the best face oil I have ever tried. There's not a bad thing that I can say about it. It gives such an intense hydrating feeling to the skin!
Argan Infinity Cream
Now, the Argan Infinity Cream is new to me. It basically comes out almost like petroleum jelly would (ironically it's petroleum FREE) and quickly melts into a rich hydrating oil once rubbed it. It's definitely thinker than the regular Argan Oil and I'm telling you this right now - if you have dry skin, this will be SUCH a treat for you! I mean, it is literally the most luxurious thing I have ever put on my face. Speaking of that, you can put it ANYWHERE. Hands, feet, body, lips, face.... you name it. I've read that a lot of people think it is too thick for the face but when I go to bed at night, I literally oil up my face so much that I look like a grease ball and I love the way it feels, so, needless to say, it's not too thick for me! If you're someone with severely dry skin, run and scoop this up now!

Needless to say, I think you guys can tell I'm a huge fan of JM. I love how natural yet luxurious all of her products are and I can't wait to see the skincare and beauty line expand!

As always, thanks for reading!
Until next time...

  2. I love Josie Maran! I'm going to have to try the Infinity Cream. You should try the oil cleanser as well. I have seen a big difference in my skin while using it day and night during the winter months. It really helps with keeping my dry skin moisturized. The combination of just the cleanser and the argan oil is perfect. The only 2 products I've been using besides the Tarte eye cream.
