Bronzers for Fair to Light Skin

Hi, everyone! Today I'm sharing some of my favorite bronzers for all of my "Snow Whites" out there. It's pretty obvious when you have light skin, bronzers, at times, can be a struggle - especially in the winter time. These are a few of my favorites that will give you a light subtle glow...
Left to Right: The Skinny Dip, 02 Fair Matte, Light Bronze
Bare Minerals READY Bronzer "The Skinny Dip" - This was one of the first "light" bronzers I can remember owning (as you can see I've hit pan on it). It's very smooth and has a golden undertone. I personally think it suits women with more of a neutral to warm undertone. It can turn a bit "orangey" on cooler undertones. However, it seems to work fine for me!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzing Powder "02 Fair Matte" - This is a new addition to my bronzer collection and I'm really enjoying it. If you're looking for an absolutely matte bronzer that comes in literally, the lightest shades I've seen, go for this one! There was actually a lighter shade offered than the one I picked out, which was "02 Fair Matte". The texture is very smooth and it blends into the skin so naturally. I may have found a new favorite!

Physician's Formula Happy Booster "Light Bronze" - This was my all time FAVORITE bronzer for the longest time. It has a bit of a glow to it, which I love. I'm a big fan of luminous bronzers so this is a great product for when spring time rolls around. It has a mixture of light, dark, and pink pigments in it which combine for a perfect sun kissed look. Even though it does give your skin a glow, it's perfectly fine to contour with! It doesn't add any shimmer or glitter to your face, just a nice radiant look.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder "Bronze" - The reason I really love this powder is because it's so finely milled. Technically, it is a finishing powder but it works really nicely as a bronzer for someone with a lighter complexion. It's very easy to apply and blend, plus, only a small amount of product comes out at a time so you're not getting too much on the brush.

Mineral Hygienics Mineral Enhancer "Cool Kiss" - This product was introduced to me a few months ago when I received some products to test out from Mineral Hygienics. The "mineral enhancer" reminded me of "Warmth" by Bare Minerals only more pink in undertone. Let me tell you, if I had to recommend ANY bronzer to someone who is worried about the "orange" issue, it would be this one. It has the most gorgeous cool undertone that won't turn you orange. I can't describe how pretty it is on the cheeks. Some days I don't even wear blush it's so pretty! (I have a 10% off coupon code to Mineral Hygienics if you're interested - use code "shelbeya" at checkout)
What are your favorite "light" bronzers? :)

Until next time...

  1. Out of the ones you showed, Cool Kiss would have to be my favorite because it's not orange toned. Where can you get Mineral Hygienics?

    1. It's fabulous! I'm totally in love! I believe you can only get it on their website (sorry I meant to link everything but my boyfriend was successfully giving me anxiety by watching a scary movie as I was typing! lol) Head over to :)
