Running Late: 6-Product Makeup Guide

Hello, everyone! I hope your week is flying by as fast as mine! Speaking of flying by, almost every day I feel as if I'm being rushed to throw on my makeup in time to make it to class or work. It seems like there's never enough time in the mornings to get ready, especially when you over sleep and wind up in one of those "should I do my hair or makeup" situations ( I normally opt for hair since I keep a spare makeup bag in my car)

However, on those days when I'm lucky enough to squeeze in a couple extra minutes, I'll throw together a quick glowing makeup look. Today I want to share my go-to "running late" beauty routine in hopes that I can pass down some quick tips to all of my girls on the go out there. Enjoy!

When I'm running late, one of my main concerns isn't necessarily full coverage, but a nice healthy glow to the skin. Adding a nice medium coverage moisturizing base is my first step. I love using the Clinique CC Cream because it keeps my skin hydrated all day and gives me an awesome dewy medium coverage complexion!

When it comes to blush, you can't skip! It's important to add some color to those cheeks! I like sticking to the cream theme and going with a stick or basic cream blush. One of my favorites is the NYX Cream Rouge Blush in "Natural".

I don't focus on contouring when I'm in a hurry (obviously) but I still like adding a bronzey glow to my skin. I love the Tarte Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder in "Bronze" because it gives my skin a natural hint of color and also sets my CC cream! If you own the Bare Minerals Bronzing Mineral Veil, this would be a similar option to use!

I feel like I'm one of those girls who just looks better with a little bit of shadow on. I know a lot of girls can just get away with mascara but I normally try to throw a little eye color on the lids. A product I love using is the Benefit "Peeka-Bright-Eyes" Eye Illuminating Kit. It's so simple so you can't exactly mess anything up. You basically have a browbone highlight, crease color, eye highlight, and inner corner highlight. It really does brighten the eye area up!

Of course, I can't go without my mascara. The hands down best mascara of all time is the Benefit " They're REAL!" It literally makes you look like you have false lashes on. I love it and highlight recommend it to anyone looking for a legit amazing mascara!

I often reach for my travel size lippies so I can just toss whatever color I choose in my purse and be on my way. For the photo above, I chose Laura Mercier Lip Glace in "Bare Pink". It so natural and really makes the lips look shiny and hydrated. I've been loving this color lately!

Thanks so much for reading, guys!
