Bare Minerals READY To Go "Complexion Perfection" Palette

Hola! Today's post will be a combination of the new Bare Minerals "Complexion Perfection" Palette, plus a Friday Face (since I'm going to show you how the products look)

This review has been highly requested on my channel so obviously, I wanted to share it on here as well. Enjoy!

Complexion Perfection Contents:
  • 1 READY Foundation
  • 1 READY Colored Touch Up Veil (shades vary depending on foundation color)
  • 1 READY Bronzer (shades vary depending on foundation color)
  • 1 READY Luminizer (shades vary depending on foundation color)
  • 1 SPF 20 Correcting Concealer (shades vary depending on foundation color)
  • 1 Mini Precision Face Brush
  • 1 Mini Tapered Face Brush
  • 1 Keep-Sake Makeup Clutch
The palette retails for $49 which isn't bad if you're one of those people who LOVE the READY formulas and also buy separate makeup staples for your travel bag - I know most people just take what they have but I know quite a few women who have to have a separate travel makeup bag - I'm one of them ;)

My palette is in "Fairly Light" (or "R170" - they've changed the names to numbers) The palette is perfect for travel. The only thing I personally think missing is a blush. If I do my makeup, I never omit blush...but that may just be me. Each shade of Mineral Veil, Bronzer, Luminizer, and Concealer will vary depending on your foundation shade.

If you are in the light color family you will receive the "Light" Touch Up Veil, "The Skinny Dip" Bronzer, "The Love Affair" Luminizer", and "Light 2" Concealer.

If you are in the medium color family you will receive the "Medium" Touch Up Veil, "The High Dive" Bronzer, "The Shining Moment" Luminizer, and "Medium 2" Concealer.

If you are in the tan family, the only shades that will vary from the medium palette is the concealer, which will be "Tan 2", and the Touch Up Veil, which will be "Tan".

If you are in the deep/dark family, the only shades that will vary from the tan palette is the concealer, which will be "Dark 2", and the Touch Up Veil, which will be in "Dark".

READY Foundation in "Fairly Light" & READY Touch Up Veil in "Light"
READY Bronzer in "The Skinny Dip & READY Luminizer in "The Love Affair"
SPF 20 Correction Concealer in "Light 2"
Mini "Precision Face Brush" & Mini "Tapered Face Brush"
Keep in mind that these brushes ARE mini, not full size. This would have to be my main complaint. I'm not one of those women who can work with miniature brushes! My face isn't the size of a mouse unfortunately!

Before & After

Overall this is a nifty little palette. it truly is compact and easy to throw in your purse for travel. The only thing I would mention is to keep some spare brushes on hand if you're not into the whole "mini brush" thing.

Thanks so much for reading and I hope you all enjoyed this review!!!

Until next time...

  1. Do you think the R170 Fairly Light would work with a porcelain skin tone (R110)?

  2. Thanks for the review. You are so pretty! I checked your newest posts and I think red hair suits you more than blonde. Best wishes!
