Transitioning Your Summer Wardrobe to Fall ft. Aeropostale

If you haven't stopped by your local Aeropostale within the past 4 days, you'll be in for a huge surprise. The company has been working on a whole new line of fashion and styles which is sure to appeal to all.

On Monday, July 29th, all Aero stores were closed until 6pm to remodel for the grand reveal of their brand new fashion direction. I was fortunate enough to have a sneak peek before the doors were open for their "Aero Rocks Fashion" event. It was a huge success! The styles, patterns, and pieces were so cute and stylish. I thought it would be fun to pick up some styles that I could incorporate into a transitional summer to fall post! I'm excited to share the looks I've came up with. Enjoy!

When fall comes creeping around the corner I always latch onto my summer styles for as long as possible. These are just a few ways I mix my summer and fall styles together with simple pieces.

The Blue Jean Jacket
One of my most common pieces for the summer is tanks. The greatest part about tanks are that they can be layered with basically anything (jacks, blazers, anoraks, etc.) A perfect transitional piece to pair with tanks for the fall is a classic blue jean jacket.

Comfy Sweater and Shorts
I'm seriously such a sweater girl. I could wear them all year round! I normally stick to the general rule of wearing a long top with shorts or short sleeve top with pants. Here in the south, it stays pretty warm during the day in the fall, but can get pretty chilly at night. I love pairing a nice slightly over sized sweater with shorts or some cropped boyfriend jeans. Not too hot and not too cold!

Warm Accessories
I would have to say my most used accessory for fall is a scarf. Again, you can pair it with ANYTHING. They're so versatile and add that extra element of warmth to any outfit, not to mention they come in the cutest prints! I'm not sure if there's any outfit you can't add a scarf to? ;)

I hope ya'll enjoyed this series! Seriously, if you haven't checked out the new and improved Aeropostale, definitely consider stopping in on your next trip to the mall.

Thanks for reading!

Until next time...
Love,
Shelbey
