Styling Bright & Metallic Denim ft. Sears Fashion

I am a member of the Social Fabric®  Collective Bias®  Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.

I don't know about you all, but when it comes to my jeans, I always keep it simple - either dark wash or light wash. I'm such a sucker for neutral colors!

I recently branched out into Sears to expand my denim collection for more edgier styles. I was kind of shocked when I saw all of the affordable fashion selections they had. Almost everything was 50% off, not to mention, styles that were absolutely adorable.

I rounded up a couple pairs of jeans that weren't the norm. for my every day wear.
Here's what I ended up with:

Jade "Sexy Curvy" Denim - Kardashian Kollection

Can we just talk about this color for a moment?
I would have never imagined this Jade green shade would look so cute on! I don't think I've ever owned a pair of jeans this bright before.

Oh and not to mention the name "sexy curvy".... *curvy* being the key word for me. Sometimes it's hard to find jeans that fit me properly. I always describe my body shape to be "petite curvy". These jeans fit perfectly. I did have to roll them up a tad bit but nothing dramatic.

Since the pants are so bright, I played off of them and kept everything else simple but still fun and trendy.

My Inspiration for This Look

I love how Lauren managed to play off of the brightly colored denim to keep the look casual and every day wearable. I think this a perfect example on how to wear bright denim. I wanted to showcase a similar look to show women who may be hesitant to wear bold colors that you can make any outfit paired with bright jeans wearable.

This particular style is from the Kardashian "Kollection" at Sears. I was seriously so impressed with the different colors AND styles they offered! Not to mention, most of the styles were under $20! Can you say "unheard of"? I may have a new favorite pair of jeans on my hands!

I can't even begin to describe how impressed I was with Sears jean selection and overall clothing selection. I haven't been in for a while and I'm definitely glad that I did, especially while they were offering 50% off a lot of their clothing - not just summer either, pieces that could easily be worn in the fall and winter. Will had to drag me out of there because I seriously couldn't stop trying everything on! haha

Jeans: Sears

Gold Metallic

Again, another Kardashian steal! These jeans are so incredibly unique. The gold sheen is hard to detect unless you're in direct sunlight, but I just love how feminine and girly they are!

I seriously was scared to death to try these on (do you ever get dressing room anxiety - when you're trying something super trendy for the first time and aren't sure how it'll look on? just me? ok haha)
Surprisingly, I LOVED these. I'm so glad I branched out at Sears and tried them!

My Inspiration for This Look

Again, I love the simplicity of this outfit with an unexpected metallic denim surprise. I think the pants are flashy, but in a subtle way.

I think I've claimed these jeans as my "sassy pants". They're just too fabulous (and were only $17?!)

Jeans: Sears

I'm so excited to see that Sears has added thousands of new denim selections for this season. I would highly recommend checking out your local Sears if you haven't lately. Most of their jean selections were priced amazingly (like I said - up to 50% off) Plus, I used my "Shop Your Way" Rewards membership to gain points on future purchases and deals!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know what kind of denim trends you're excited to try this season!

Until next time...

  1. Love both outfits, but especially the second one. Those jeans have a great peachy tone that is wonderful with your skin tone and hair color!

    1. Thank you!

I was in love with the unique color as well!

      Thanks for reading :)

  2. Oooh I love brightly colored jeans! I love the second look - those jeans are definitely unique!

  4. I love these looks! You brought up a great point about trying metallic denim. It's all about finding that perfect amount of shine that doesn't leave you looking like the tin man but feels special when the light hits it right. Oh and the LC style inspiration - right on!
