August Sponsors: Get to Know Them

Hello to everyone! I hope all is well with you on this Tuesday morning.

Today I wanted to share two lovely blogs and the beautiful ladies behind them - also known as, Michele from Guiding Beauty and Sarah from The Serendipity Blog. I'm so glad I was able to get to know them a little better through my monthly premium sponsor post! Now, I'd like you to meet them and swing on over to their blogs :)

Michele's blog, Guiding Beauty, is dedicated to delivering you beauty reviews, her latest beauty obsessions, fashion, and even a little bit of organizational tips! She is so sweet and I can sincerely say she is passionate about her blog and it's content!

Michele's Q&A:
  1. What inspired you to start blogging?
I have always loved to write, ever since I was in college. Blogging gives me the opportunity to express my passion for writing about beauty products I love and my passion for fashion. I love the fact that I can openly write about these topics and share them with my followers. I feel that I’m truly able to help guide them on the best products and fashion tips I have. To me, it’s paying it forward and I love sharing.

  1. Why did you choose the overall theme of your blog?
I’ve always been obsessed with make up and fashion. When I was little I would watch my mom get dressed and do her make up. The products she would use mesmerized me. I loved going through her make up page and trying out her favorite items, which included a trusted favorite like Ponds cold cream. I also loved her Chantilly Lace perfume. I feel that it was only natural for me to choose a name and them like Guiding Beauty. I wanted to share the love I had that my mom gave me toward make up and inner beauty with people who had the name passion.

  1. What is your favorite thing to blog about?
Although I do some blog posts about fashion tips and trends. Make up is my favorite, I love doing reviews on products that worked for me and are worth buying and trying.

  1. What would you like to tell new readers about your blog or yourself?
That I’m very passionate about what I write, I never write a blog because an advertiser or PR firm is paying me. Everything I write about is based on my own opinions and experiences.

5. My readers love discovering new beauty products - what would be your number one beauty product recommendation?
My number one beauty product that I recommend is Khiel’s Crème de Corps. I love the texture and smell of this product and it has done wonders for my skin. I’m a huge fan of the company, and they really do put out quality products. They mean what they advertise. Their products, really do work.

What a doll! I'm so glad I've had the chance to interact with, Sarah! Over on her blog, The Serendipity Blog, Sarah shares her most loved beauty products, reviews, hair care, and even some great post over Bare Minerals (for all of my BM ladies out there)

Sarah's Q&A:

1. What inspired you to start blogging?
I started blogging when I was a Senior in high school for a media project. I was supposed to create a blog about something I was passionate about and update it every week for the semester. I had just found the Beauty Community on YouTube and I was way too shy to even think about making videos, so I decided I would talk about makeup on the blog instead. I instantly got hooked and found some extremely fun blogs and blogging friends through writing and creating my own. Since then, I moved on to Serendipity where I express my love for girly things and my other blog, Becoming Mrs. V.

2. Why did you choose the overall theme of your blog?
After starting my first blog initially, I found a passion in writing about makeup and beauty products. Even when I needed to move on from my previous blog for personal reasons and wanting to have a lifestyle blog too (they're just so cute and crafty!), I knew I would never be able to give up my love for beauty related things.

3. What is your absolute favorite thing to blog about?
My absolute obsession as of now is Bare Minerals. I am all over it. It is good for your skin, the products are top quality, and they are the number one makeup brand in my collection. I could write about Bare Mineral's products for days.

4. What would you like to tell new readers about your blog or yourself?
Something I pride myself on is being real. Sometimes I get busy, sometimes I forget things, but you will never see me being someone who I'm not. That's the beauty of having your own voice. I love being able to express myself through social media and I know it is easy to get caught up in it. I also know what it's like to be ridiculed because of what you like to do. I never let it hurt me and I strived to do even more. My blogs and videos are real because that's who I am and I like that about myself.

5. My readers love discovering new beauty products - what would be your number one beauty product recommendation?
Hands down, my favorite Beauty Product of the moment are the Marvelous Moxie Lipsticks. My favorites are Light It Up, Live it Up, and Get Ready. They are creamy, pigmented, and one of the best lipsticks I have ever

A big thanks to, Sarah for advertising as well!
