July Beauty Favorites

Ello, loves! - I hope you read that in a British accent ;)
Today I'm bringing you my July beauty favorites. Now, I have to say, I kept things really simple this month. Surprisingly, I only have 3 makeup products! Shocker, I know. I hope you find some of these items intriguing, enjoy!

Tarte "Park Ave. Princess" Bronzer & E.L.F. Conditioning Lip Balm in "Mellow Melon"

Let's Talk "Favorites"
  • Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit: I bought this off of a recommendation from Allison (amarixe on YouTube) a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I have never had my eye brows waxed and I've always been a little weary about getting them done. So, when I saw how easy Allison did her eye brows in her video, I was like, "Oh...okay...I can do that?!" I was nervous on the first attempt but the little strips seriously removed all of my hairs and hairs I didn't even know I had! Oh, and the best part is, you don't even need a microwave! All you do is warm the strips up in your hands for 10-15 seconds. So easy!

  • Healthy Sexy Hair "Soy Renewal Nourishing Styling Treatment": I received this product in one of my Ipsy bags a couple months ago. The Healthy Sexy line is seriously my favorite of all hair products. I really enjoy this serum because it makes my hair super soft after blow drying, it also speeds up the drying process! It's not heavy at all!

  • E.L.F. Conditioning Lip Balms: These little things are awesome! Not only are they moisturizing, but they give you such great color pay off! They smell tropical in my opinion, which I love. My favorite color has been "Mellow Melon", a bright coral. The only downside is you have to find a place to wipe your hands once you apply them ha ha

  • Tarte Park Ave. Princess Bronzer: I've had this bronzer for over a year now and I've never really gravitated towards it until now. It's been my go-to contour bronzer lately and I love the finish! It does have some shimmer in it but I can never detect it when it's applied...no biggie in my opinion. The color seems to be just right for my skintone, not too dark and not too light. I love me some Tarte! Oh...look out for a massive Tarte haul coming soon. If you've never tried their products, now's the time. They're having their Friends and Family sale and you can get 30% off side wide by using the code "TARTEFF" at checkout ;)

  • Bare Minerals "Stroke of Light": Here's another product I've had stashed away!! As most of you know already, I work at a BM store so I'm fortunate enough to get the deets on new products. I was so excited for this to come out and when it did, it also came out with the Well Rested Pen. I think I was so excited to use both of them that I wasn't taking the time to apply them correctly and wasn't getting any results. Now that I've calmed my "first time infatuation" (you know, the feeling you get when you get a new makeup product?) down, I've actually been using it right and almost every day with my makeup. I love the brightened effect!

  • Chapstick "Mix Stix" in Caramel Apple: You had me at "caramel apple", Chapstick. I flipped when I saw these at Walgreens. I'm not sure why a double ended chapstick is so fascinating but being the easy consumer that I am, of course I had to have it.... and Oh. My. Gosh. They taste just like a caramel apple lollipop! I'm in love. There was also "Lemon Berry" and "Strawberry Banana". My mom got Strawberry Banana and it was equally amazing.

  • American Eagle "Live" Perfume: Will actually bought me this back in February on my birthday. It has such a relaxed and unique scent to it. I'm not even going to begin to describe how it smells because I'll just butcher the lovliness of it! Just check it out the next time you swing by AE!
That's all for this month's favorites?
What were you guys loving for the month of July? :)

Until next time...
Love,
Shelbey

  1. I have never seen the little ELF balms. I will have to check out my Target! I used to use the sally hansen strips all of the time. I would heat mine with a blast from my hair dryer and they worked a lot better.

    1. I duped them for the NARS Lip Lacquers :) That's a great idea! Thanks for the tip!

  2. Ooo, that tarte bronzer looks pretty! I also don't like much shimmer in my bronzer, might have to give this one a try! Thanks for reviewing Shelby!

    1. You may want to try "Hotel Heiress" it's slightly less shimmery :) Thanks for reading, Chelsey!
