Jennifer Lawrence Inspired Makeup

Hello everyone! Today I'm posting a pre-Jennifer Lawrence makeup look since I'm running behind on my actual YouTube makeup tutorial. Hope you enjoy!

Recently I have been getting a lot of messages, comments, etc. on my Instagram and YouTube saying I looked like Jennifer Lawrence. I seriously got 5 comments on my channel one day saying that people clicked on my tutorial just because they thought I resembled JL so much.

I can kind of see similarities but nothing that is fascinating. So, I thought it would be fun to do a Jennifer Lawrence inspired makeup tutorial. The actual tutorial will be up on my channel by Thursday evening but until then I wanted to do a mini pic-torial for you all :)

The photos I took inspiration from were Jennifer Lawrence's beautiful makeup at The Hunger Games premier (old I know). What I loved about the makeup is that her face was so natural and then she had those awesome smokey eyes.

I had so much fun rediscovering my love for the smokey eye. These past couple of years I've really laid off the dramatic eye makeup, but now that I've been playing around with more smokier looks, I'm really starting to enjoy it again!

I'm really excited about getting the actual tutorial up! I've had some delays due to some much needed family time. I will link it in this post once it's up! In the mean time, I will list the products I used for this look below. I hope you enjoyed! :)

  1. It's true! You look just like her! That makeup looks wonderful on you. I've always thought Jennifer Lawrence looks a bit weird with makeup for some reason, but I think your bone structure/application of the makeup is just different enough so that it looks great.

    1. Haha thank you! She's definitely a natural beauty :)

      Thanks for reading!

  2. saw you on the style link up... totally love your blog!!

    1. Haha no, you're not! Thanks so much for reading and the kind comments.

  5. Almost everything in Hollywood is at least slightly ironic, and decidedly modern or post modern in sensibility. Outright racism or misogyny is now rare in Hollywood. Hollywood is basically far more socially conscious. Bollywood is almost entirely about money, much more so than Hollywood. Often mob money. One highly visible motif is the highly problematic rise of "item numbers."
