Face of the Day: Bare Minerals

Hello Everyone!
Time to endure another dreadful Monday. I'm getting so anxious for school to be out so I can enjoy some time off during summer. My schedule for the fall is looking pretty intense! 12 hours of school and 30 hours of work per week. YIKES! I'm definitely going to be extremely busy. I guess I better make it up this summer for future lack of posts during the fall.

Face of the Day
I wanted to share a quick FOTD post for you all. I hope you enjoy!

I was feeling pretty simple today. I even mentioned on Instagram how I shouldn't even worry about buying eye shadow anymore due to the length of my bangs! I'm still loving them though!

Products Used:
bareMinerals® 'Prime Time' Brightening Foundation Primer

Prime Time "Brightening" foundation primer by Bare Escentuals is hands down my favorite primer of all time. It makes my makeup look flawless and stay on ALL day. I love the tint in it as well. Perfect for summer!

bareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15, Medium Beige (N20) 0.28 oz (8 g)
Of course, I can't get an even and glowing complexion without my original foundation. Since I've been self tanning, I've went back to Medium Beige (N20) I honestly wish I could wear this year-round because it matches my skin perfectly as far as the undertone goes. I've come to the conclusion that I'll be an original BM foundation user for life. The READY just isn't doing it for me!

Bare Escentuals Spf 20 Concealer
Ahh, my trustee Summer Bisque. How I love it so! Bisque could quite possibly be a product I would never want to live without other than my foundation. If you have never tried Bare Escentuals bisque concealer, you're seriously missing out. It is the best stuff I have ever tried. Even for seriously blemishes, it always manages to cover better than heavy liquid or cream concealers. I can't say enough good things about this stuff!

bareMinerals Blush, Thistle 0.03 oz

I normally reach for my READY blushes since I've basically converted to them over the original blushes (except for "Hint") but today I went for an oldie but a goodie, "Thistle". Thistle is a deeper blush with hints of plum and berry. This is a favorite for women with medium to tan skin (based on our customers where I work). It's not one I normally go for but I really love the way it looks with deeper colors!
bareMinerals bareMinerals READY™ Touch Up Veil Broad Spectrum SPF 15

I can't go a day without my Mineral Veil. My new found love is in the READY compact. It's so much easier to apply and still gives the same flawless finish as the regular MV does. If you've never used or heard of Mineral Veil, it's basically a translucent powder you apply after your makeup is done. It gives you a perfectly even complexion and flawless finish. Oh, it also helps control shininess caused by oil! It's a must for combo to oily skin!

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss, Dare Devil 1 ea

For my lip color I went with the Marvelous Moxie plumping gloss in "Dare Devil". Most people freak out when they see this shade because it seriously looks like purple lipgloss. I promise it doesn't look that way on the lips! It's honestly one of the best berry glosses I've ever used. I love it!bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 4.0 Quads, The Truth 1 ea

Since no one can really even see my eye shadow anymore, I stuck with my go-to 4.0 eye quad in "The Truth". As you can see, its a combination of perfect neutrals (cream, taupe, medium and dark browns) If I had to pick one Bare Mineral's eye palette to use for the rest of my life, it would be this one. You simply can't go wrong with it!

That's all for today's post! Thanks for reading!

Until next time...
