November Julep Maven: Bombshell Box

Hi guys! I'm finally back with a post! I received my November Julep Maven box! If you are new to my blog, I will link my previous video at the end of this post so you can learn more info about this subscription service. Enjoy!

November "Bombshell" Box:
Boy, have I missed my Julep box! I skipped October due to the crackle polish (I despise it). So I was very pleased when I saw the colors/products for this month! I generally go for the "It Girl" or "Boho Glam" boxes but the Bombshell box caught my eye this month!

Pink Grapefruit Body Frosting:
The first item that really caught my eye on my monthly Maven preview was this Pink Grapefruit Body Frosting. I initially thought it was a body scrub but to my surprise when I opened it up, I discovered it was a whipped moisturizer! The scent is absolutely heavenly and smells identical to a grapefruit. This is a natural moisturizer that is PARABEN FREE!!! I am such a huge advocate on paraben free products so this was an added bonus to the moisturizer in my opinion.
The consistency is so rich but light. As you can tell from the picture, it looks like pink whipped cream! It is absolutely luxurious and I am sold on it!

One Step Polish Remover Pads:
The polish remover pads were the added "bonus" this month. I received 3 small pads but I did use one to test it out. These are great for travel so you don't have to bring along cotton pads and a bottle of regular remover. The pads are soaked with remover. One pad removed my finger nail polish and to nail polish. One thing I really liked about these little guys is that they don't smell like polish remover! After I removed my nail color I didn't smell a thing on my hands!

The Polishes:
Trine (top)/Donna (bottom)

Trina:
Trina is a deep sparkle purple. I was most excited to receive this color for November. I used it first thing. The sparkle isn't as noticeable on the nails as it is in the bottle. However, the color pay off is rich as always!

Donna:
Donna is a perfect teal color. it doesn't contain any shimmer. I used this color on my toe nails and it's such a unique color. Definitely appropriate for fall. I wouldn't say that I fell in love with either of the polishes this month but they definitely weren't total busts!

Overall Box Rating (out of 5):
3
This month's box was filled with interesting products that I definitely enjoyed. I would have to rate it at a 3 because the polishes just didn't make me say "Wow". However, I can honestly say I have never been unhappy with a Julep box!
