Easy Polka-Dot Nails ft. Essie & Maybelline

Hi guys! I was searching around for a nice pale pink polish to add to my collection and stumbled across the Maybelline "Color Show" polishes. I have never tried them but they were only $2.97 so I couldn't pass it up!  I spotted the most gorgeous pale pink called, "Born with It" and thought it would be perfect to use in this simple polha-dot nail tutorial. Enjoy!

I was excited to find that it went on fabulously! I paired it with my Essie "Good as Gold" polish and this was the result!

How gorgeous are these colors together?! Wanna know more details? Keep reading!

Maybelline Color Show in "Born with It":
At $2.95 you can't beat this polish. I was a little worried when I applied the first coat, it is extremely sheer. However, after 3-4 coats it became so pretty! I think this would be a wonderful dupe for any of Essie's pale pink polishes!

Another thing I love is the packaging! Something about the round bottle is so cute! :)

Essie "Good as Gold":

"Good as Gold" is a gorgeous metallic gold flake polish. I knew as soon as I found the Maybelline polish that I wanted to pair the two together!

Polka-Dot Detail/Finishing Touches:
Sally Hansen "Insta-Dri" Top Coat is absolutely the best top coat of all time! If you haven't tried it then snag one up the next time your at the local Walgreens (or any drugstore)
To add the gold dots on my ring finger I simply stuck a Q-Tip in "Good as Gold" and gently dropped a few dots on top of the pink polish. Lastly, I added my favorite quick-dry top coat, Sally Hansen "Insta-Dri". Easy does it! :)

Hope you all enjoyed this post!
Have a lovely day.
