Lifestyle Blog #2: Quick 160 Calorie Breakfast

Hi everyone! I'm back with a weekly food/lifestyle blog! This week I chose to share my FAVORITE healthy on-the-go breakfast with you. I generally only have 2 days off a week due to my work schedule so I wake up fairly early to get ready each morning for work. This quick and healthy meal never fails me! I like to call it my "Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Sandwhich" and it is extremely tasty not to mention QUICK to make!

What You'll Need:

  • Healthy Life Multi-Grain 80 Calorie English Muffins (If you don't like English Muffins then you can substitute with Healthy Life Whole Grain 35 calorie bread, this will reduce the total calorie count to 10 calories less)
  • Fat Free Cheese Slices (I preffer the taste of Borden to Kraft)
  • 1 slice of Turkey Bacon
  • 100% Liquid Egg Whites (Plain or South Western)
  • Toaster Oven

  • Split english muffin in half and place the cheese slice on one half of the muffin
  • Place english muffin with cheese in the toaster oven until cheese is melted and the tops are toasted (I keep my oven on 450 degrees for about 4 minutes)
  • While english muffin is toasting, place your Turkey Bacon in the microwave for 2 minutes or until your desired crispiness
  • After cooking the bacon place 3-4 tbs of the liquid egg whites in a bowl and microwave for 45 seconds or until cooked thoroughly
  • Place turkey bacon and egg whites on the freshly toasted english muffin and enjoy!
